About Bert and Bella (On Trial 29/7/14)
Bert is a fawn male pedigree pug(with papers) and Bella is a black pug x Cavalier. They have grown up together, love each other and therefore need to find a home where they can go to together. Bella is 8yrs and Bert is 7yrs.
Bert is a very very lay back boy whose favourite activity is eating. He is just the most easy going dog there is. Nothing at all phases him. He doesn't bark and likes to spend his time in the kitchen waiting for scraps to fall off the bench tops!
Bella on the other hand is an active girl. She likes to have a play and a run around outside with the other dogs. She looks out for Bert and can often be found washing his face and grooming him just like a mum.
Both are inside dogs who need access to the outdoors to go to the toilet. They generally share a bed, even if they don't both fit. Both are loving and affectionate dogs who have been bought up around cats and small children.
Bert and Bella need a home where they can be part of the family, enjoying interaction and attention. Bella is a bit of a sook and laps up affection. Both are very loving and happy dogs who just need a loving home where they will be part of the focus.
If you think you can provide Bert and Bella the loving and secure forever home they are looking for please email Lucyann at blackorchid7@hotmail.com.au.
Their adoption fee is $600 for the pair and includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
