About Rollie (On Trial 11/7/14)
Introducing Rollie. Rollie is a 11 month old Chocolate Merle Border Collie. \ What a handsome man he is! Rollie is very intelligent and has learnt to sit, drop, shake hands and sit while waiting to be fed - all in just 2 days! He is in perfect health and now looking for his forever home.
Rollie thrives on praise and wants nothing more than to please you and to have your company. \ He does jump when excited to see you, however he is working very hard at controlling this. He is very good on a lead and loves to be out and about – however at his young age he isn’t very road wise and needs to be kept on leash when out of the house.
Rollie is a very affectionate young lad and if he can't be with you he is quite happy to sit outside and wait for you - he also loves being able to see you through a door or window – but it is very hard to resist his charms and continue on with what you were doing!
He came from a very loving background and was privately surrendered due to a change in circumstances.
His present carer has chickens and although he is intrigued by them, he hasn’t tried to harm them. Rollie currently has a Labrador as a playmate and would be most suited to someone who has a lot of time to spend with him or with someone who can provide another dog as a playmate should you be working through the day. \
Rollie loves to be brushed and he will need weekly brushing. He also loves his Kong toy as he finds this a challenge and Rollie loves nothing better than to be challenged!
This gorgeous boy is a total sweetheart. He loves EVERYONE and has made hearts melt wherever he goes. There is nothing better than a Rollie snuggle at night while watching TV!
Rollie would make a wonderful companion and he can't wait to be part of a family in his forever home.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
