About Charlie & Muffin
Cheeky CHARLIE: What a little champion this boy is. He got off to a very rough start being found (probably dumped) all alone sitting in a cold mechanic's garage in Smithfield. He was so tiny (about 3 weeks old) with a little face like a baby koala. He was injured with a very sore looking open puncher wound in his back probably from a small dog bite. Thankfully he was handed over but ended up in a said rescue place that was actually a dirty hoarders house. There were many feral cats around and a colony of cats near by that were also looked after by these people. This environment was just so unhygienic and Charlie just sat in this house all alone on a filthy bed and even though was being fed he had an open wound and needed on going care.
A Bengal feral cat who lived in the back yard of this house had a litter of kittens (also 4 weeks old) and this one little torte colored long legged boney fragile kitten from the litter use to strangely leave her mother and siblings to make her way into this hoarders house, somehow climb the cluttered steep stairs to go and sleep next to little Charlie and keep him company. The rest of the story is too long to explain now as to how I came about taking BOTH CHARLIE and his skinny "girlfriend" MUFFIN into my care.
I am so glad I did – Charlie and Muffin are inseparable, super healthy, happy and beyond loved. You can imagine why I really hope for them to be adopted together.
ABOUT CHARLIE: Charlie is a Cherub, such a soft velvet coat and white socks with the cutest little grey toe! He is a curious kitty, so cuddly and loves company. He is always playing with Muffin between their long naps and even loves to play with the vacuum cleaner when I’m doing house-duties. He has a BIG appetite, (I only feed him the best food) and his favourite real meat is turkey and lamb. (Spoilt much lol). He drinks a lot of filtered running water as running around makes him thirsty. He follows me into the shower (I know) and loves to sit on my lap while I’m trying to have some privacy on the loo. Ha! He loves to sleep on my chest (both Muffin and Charlie do this) purring away very content. He’s an explorer so chances are you may find him in a kitchen cupboard that you happed to close unaware that he jumped in when you had your back turned. I’m very mindful, as he also loves to explore the fridge when it’s open so I double check before I close it. I have two of my own cats and three foster kittens (Charlie, Muffin and Frieda). Charlie is very social with all the cats (plus all human visitors) and does not have a bad bone in is body. A calm content soul and a kitten that is so very dear to my heart. I want to find the very best loving home for Charlie and with Muffin by his side I know he will be even happier in life. Adopting Charlie and Muffin together would really ease my mind as they have such a beautiful bond. The adoption fee will be discounted if adopted as a pair. If you have room in your heart and time to give Charlie and Muffin the love, shelter, care, protection, food, water, toys, and cuddles that they both deserve please make contact ASAP.
