About Saffron Sky ~ Rehomed 19/12/14
Introducing Saffron Sky a large 2 year old female Labrador x Kelpie. Saffron Sky has a thick sleek black coat like the midnight sky and amazing gold eyes. She is a beautiful, calm and gentle dog who loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the lounge any chance that she gets. Saffron Sky's favourite past time is lying near you for tummy rubs!
Saffron loves to play a lot but also knows when it’s quiet time and will calm down very quickly. One of her hobbies is to fall asleep in the sun – it’s a hard life being a dog.
Due to Saffron Sky’s calm nature she is child friendly as she does not jump on children and knows how to calm herself very quickly when needed. She has been undergoing training with her foster family and understands the basic commands – she would do well at agility or fly ball type sports as she is very clever and eager to please.
Saffron Sky loves to travel in the car, she sits calmly and watches the world go by outside. She is house trained and spends the majority of her time inside with her foster family.
Saffron Sky’s dream home is one where she would be allowed to sleep inside, has lots of tummy rubs and be included in her forever family’s activities. Saffron Sky prefers to be an only dog - all the more attention for her! She has a beautiful nature with all humans young and old and will show you as much love as you show her in return.
For more information or to meet Saffron Sky please phone Jo on 0427 695 104. She is in foster care in Speers Point, Newcastle NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Saffron Sky's $300 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
