Sophie

Sophie is a wonderful, happy, outgoing pup. She is full of affection and adores snuggles on a lap. Despite being born with only three legs she plays hard with other dogs. She is clever enough that when she has had enough she goes to a safe place to rest or watch. Sophie will need to be kept on the lean side to minimise the weight placed on her good front leg however she will only ever be a tiny dane so this should not be an issue. She uses her stumpy leg for balance and to position toys to her satisfaction. She is quite the talker, particularly when asked to move out of a warm, comfy bed. As she is still a puppy she does love to chew things however is easily redirected from inappropriate items to good toys. She runs very fast and although she may look as though she is having trouble walking she is very well adapted to her situation. She has been checked by a vet regarding her missing leg, they are happy with how she is managing.
