About Peanut
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Hi, I'm Peanut! I'm a ginger girl with gorgeous green eyes and a cute little pink nose. I am a purr machine who was found by my foster mum. I think my family moved and forgot to take me with them.
At first I may seem a tiny bit uninterested in you but that’s only because I’m a little unsure of whether you are going to be nice to me. Once I get to know you, you will find out that I am incredibly affectionate and I love to play. Pats are my favourite, and I'm always flopping over to snag a chin rub (especially when I see a camera!).
I love spending time with my foster parents. It's so exciting when they get home, and I love to ask them all about their day.
I am toilet trained (of course!), and travel well in the car.
MY IDEAL HOME: Playing outside in the garden is how I love to spend sunny days, and I also enjoy the security of knowing I have a warm indoor bed to sleep in at night. (Your bed will do just fine - I don't mind sharing!) I'm independent, confident and easy-going so you don't have to worry too much about me.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Ideally my furrever humans would like to play but I also know how to keep myself entertained when my foster parents are busy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My foster parents don't have any kids, so it's anyone's guess! When you come to meet me, bring your small humans along and we'll see if it's a match. :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Unfortunately I just don't get along well with other cats, but look at it this way - I'm all the cat you will ever need! I haven't met any dogs yet.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
