About Darcy (On Trial 12/7/14)
Darcy is a stunningly gorgeous, purebred, cocker spaniel. He is 8 years old, affectionate and fun loving. He enjoys trips to the lake where he can run around with the other dogs. He is currently living with 3 female dogs, 1 male dog and a cat - and is great with them all. His previous carer had grandchildren and he was fine with them.
Darcy is an inside dog, fully house trained and well mannered and would love to be by your side, either following you around or snuggling up next to you on the lounge.
Darcy currently lives in a house where the humans work from home and Darcy thrives on company so would be best suited to a home where someone is home most of the time.
Darcy is excitedly waiting for his fur ever home. Could it be yours? If you are interested in adopting Darcy, please contact Donna on 02-4942-2517 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Darcy is in foster care in Warners Bay, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Darcy's adoption fee is only $300 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
