Seamus (C1805)

Snuggly Seamus loves human company, even visitors! He runs to the door to greet his carer after work and loves meeting visitors, especially if they’ll give him a belly rub. He was a handful for our SAFE photographer, as he kept following her around wanting a smooch and a scratch more than sitting still in front of the lens! We don’t know why this beautiful cat has been in our program for so long. We can only think that he has a truly special home coming his way.

He will sit on your lap of an evening or on a chair close by while you’re having dinner and of course, loves a snuggle on the bed at sleep time. He loves being inside so he can be close to you and is housetrained. Seamus is easily entertained with cardboard which he loves to paw and scratch. He has lived very happily with another cat before, but he’s not too keen on the neighbourhood cats. We’re sure Seamus would cope well with cat-savvy kids. His secret wish is a household where there’s someone around a lot of the time. In the past he has escaped outside and wandered into the back of a store in the heart of Karratha City shopping centre. His red raw paws were proof he’d taken himself all the way there.
