About Squirt (On trial 10/12/14) Tenterfield Terrier
Hi my name is Squirt. I’m a 5yo, male, Tenterfield Terrier with a stumpy tail. I love hiding under my blankets playing with my precious squeaky toys! I also enjoy going for walks and running around the backyard. Oh, and I love cuddles too!
Small children scare me so I am not suitable to a home with them. I'm rather frightened of men too but I think I could used to them if they are patient and kind to me. I'm an excellent alarm dog and will let you know when someone coming to the door. I have a slight heart murmur but it doesn’t stop me from running around and playing. Don't worry, it's nothing serious.
I am a loving little boy and I like to sit next to you watching TV and just enjoying your company. I'm an inside doggie and need to be allowed in the house, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
I hope you will come and meet me so I can show you how much fun and happiness I can bring to your home. I promise to bring my own squeaky toys so you can see what a fun loving little man that I am.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
