About Cassandra
Cassandra is a wonderful little dog with a huge personality.
Cassandra came to us from the Pound a very sick little girl, mostly due to neglect by her previous owner. With the help of our vets, generous donations from members of the public, her foster carers dedication and Cassandra’s fighting spirit she is now ready to go to a new home. Cassandra came from the Pound with a huge bladder stone that had been left untreated, the stone was removed and her bladder is working normally now. Cassandra was also diagnosed with a liver shunt making her feel very unwell so surgery was done at SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital) to tie the shunt off, she has recovered from that surgery and is off all medication now. She is on a normal diet and will require monitoring by a vet annually to make sure that her good health is maintained.
Cassandra would love a new home with a family who have another small dog for company as she lives with children and other dogs in her foster home and gets along well with them. Cassandra is able to go to the park and on walks just like any other dog, she is house dog and we would like her to have access at all times via a doggie door or similar, her coat will grow and require regular grooming to keep her comfy.
