About Banjo
UPDATE 6 SEPTEMBER: Banjo's owners have advised that he does get on with other dogs!
Banjo is looking for a new home as his family are moving into an inner city apartment which would not suit this active boy who was purchased as a 12 week old puppy from a breeder. Banjo stands about knee high to an adult and weighs about 10-11kgs so is on the border of small to medium size. He is in very good health and is an active outdoor dog that loves the water, loves to play catch, loves to run and has a very friendly nature. Banjo is not recommended for an elderly couple as he is far too active and has no road sense at all so will run off at the first opportunity. He will sit and wait to be fed and has been trained to use the one spot for his toilet area. Banjo needs exercising every day and loves a walk or to run along side you with a lead on if you are riding a push bike. He is a great little guard dog and will keep birds from your backyard as well as mice, rats or snakes. But be warned - he will also have a go at frogs, blue tongue lizards or skinks in the yard! Banjo is not a yappy dog and will only bark if there is a bird in the yard or someone at your front door. He has been part of a loving family - always well fed (Hills Science Diet) and is used to regularly having a clean bed, clean toys, and daily cleaned dishes. He hates being bathed but loves to be clean afterwards and has never had a flea in his life! Banjo has stayed at Hanrob Pet Hotel at Heathcote on regular visits of 2 - 4 weeks a year and there have never been any problems with him staying at this facility.
