About Jordie (On Trial 8/7/14) ~ kelpie x lab ~
This pretty girl is Jordie and she is approx. 6 months old. She is a sweet, goofy, kelpie x lab puppy who just loves to lope around with a doggie friend. She has lovely long puppy legs and looks so cute when she's chasing a ball or a chew toy around the yard with my young grandchildren.
She is a bit timid with new adults but adores children and anyone who quietly gets down to her eye level. She has a soft, elegant black coat with a white blaze on her chest and a few white toes.
Jordie will need some training when she finds her perfect home because she has been living mainly outside with lots of other dogs on a property. I have been teaching her to "sit" and "wait" and toileting is still a work in progress but she is learning every day. She would enjoy going to training classes to learn more and more.
Jordie is a very friendly girl and has shown no aggression whatsoever and is happy to share her food with my other dog. She eats just about anything including dry food, canned food and raw chicken or lamb bones. She enjoys spending some time inside when we are home and this should continue in her forever home.
Jordie is a beautiful young puppy, eager to please and show affection. She would just love a household with some kids and/or another doggie friend to play with.
For more information or to meet Jordie please phone foster carer Michelle 0431-548-163. Jordie is in foster care in Adamstown Heights, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Jordie's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
