About Ludy
Ludy is a beautiful Whippet /Labrador/Greyhound cross who has found her way to Greyhound Rescue to find her forever family. Ludy has spent a few long years being a guard dog at a pound where she was kennelled during the day and allowed to roam at night. After her doggy guard dog companion was adopted she was taken on trial adoption in another home – however through no fault of her own the situation wasn’t best for Ludy. She was returned to the same pound she was at for so long as a private surrender, and time being short we could not say no to her rescue. She gets on well with other dogs of a similar quiet temperament and would love a doggy companion (although she isn’t fond of cats). She is the height of a labrador so isn’t as tall as a greyhound, and is aged between 6-8 years. Ludy needs and deserves a loving home where she can be comfy and warm indoors to spend the rest of her days after her time in service. Can you open your heart and home to our lovely Ludy?
6-8 years old (DOB unknown)
Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
