Tammy

This is what Tammy's lovely foster Mum wrote I decided to leave her account as written as we felt this would be the best way to find her the right home. Tammy's mum had to go into care and had Tammy since a pup so this was a shock to Tammy.

I just wanted to give you an update on sweet little Tammy. She has had some trust issues to begin with, she is a bit like Fee as in she needs to be
asked, patted and cuddled before she is moved off the couch, from her bed or to be picked up. She startles easy and needs re-assurance. She gets very excited and sometimes as I’m walking she goes to grab the back of my pants to give them a pull in the opposite direction and sometimes accidentally nips a bit but I’m sure it’s just excitement.

She travels well in the car and loves to go walks in the park but is a little scared of bridges and squats as she walks over them (so cute to see). Tammy has become great playmates with Dexter and she starts barking at him to get him to get him playing and if his in the right mood off they start bouncing around. Tammy is definitely a lap dog and loves to snuggle on the couch while we watch TV and insists we pick her up to join us. She sleeps in her own bed of a night time though I know she would love to sleep on the end of our bed.

She is a bit of a princess as I could only get her to eat off a plate, she does not like bowls. She was a bit scared of everything to begin with, even the
water bowl but it wasn’t long before she settled in. I haven’t had any
trouble with food aggression and she has come a long way with moving her off the couch but needs reassurance and love.
