About Rocky the Foxy (On Trial 6/7/14)
Hi my name is Rocky. I'm a 6 month old, male, Fox Terrier x Jack Russell and I'm pretty sure I love you already! I want nothing more than a warm bed or lap to sit on and some company. My best home would be with someone who is home a lot and another dog is a must, as I really don't like being alone. Also as much as I love them, I shouldn't be left alone with chickens as I think they are delicious and I don't think I could help myself if I had the chance again. At the moment I live with two cats and I'm not bothered by them, but I do find them interesting and like to follow them around.
I was very timid when I first came into care but with love, support and the help of some doggy friends, I have come out of my shell and now I love to play. Wrestling and fetch are two of my favorite games. Though my confidence is growing every day, I do get scared easily, so please be patient with me. I'm really good in the car and love to go for walks. I'm not too fussed with getting a bath but I behave because I love all the fuss and attention that I get.
I was an outside dog before I came into care, so I'm still learning about house etiquette. But I'm a smart little boy and I'm getting the hang of it. I love my food and treats (especially 'Treats 4 Paws' treats) so I'd be very happy if you use treats to reinforce my positive good so I remember and will do it again. I am still only a puppy so I would really love to go to doggie training classes so I can learn lots of useful things.
My foster mum thinks I'm very cute and sweet and knows that I'll make someone very happy when adopted! I have been practicing the puppy dog eyes, so be prepared to melt when you see me!! Love Rocky xoxo

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
