About Peanut (On Trial 16/8/14)
Peanut is a 1 year old male Chihuahua and can only be described as a pocket rocket with personality plus. Peanut is 4 kilos of absolute cuteness and will melt in your heart within minutes. He is a gorgeous tan colour with an adorable brown nose and loves nothing more than being cuddled and loved!
Peanut is a very fast leaner and is in the process of being completely toilet trained. He will have you in stitches with his spurts of energy and wrestles with himself -provided he knows there is an audience watching.
Peanut walks perfectly on the lead and loves heading off on a short adventure with you. Whilst Peanut is energetic and loves a play, he also settles down brilliantly and is more than happy to snuggle with you on the lounge for quiet time.
This boy is a special one and in some respects, is like a baby – he will follow you wherever you go, he must be and indoor dog, and if allowed will snuggle into you to go to sleep at night – otherwise he is also very good in his bed beside yours.
Peanut gets on well with other small dogs and would be very suited to someone who is home more often than not – he has been known to voice his disapproval if left alone for extended periods of time.
Peanut will fall in love with the person who choices him as their forever pooch and will reward you every day with unconditional love; he is a very loyal little boy who follows commands and direction exceptionally well.
Peanut is one of a kind and will bring love, laughter and joy to any home.
For more information or to meet Peanut please phone foster carer Sarah on 0415 985 359. Peanut is in foster care New Lambton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Peanuts $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
