About Zoe the Cocker Spaniel (Adopted 28/7/14)
Zoe is 2yo purebred Cocker Spaniel. She loves to play with balls and toys. She is a sweet, gentle young girl who just wants to be with you and please you. She lived her first 2 years outside where she was very lonely and unhappy. Now that she is in foster care and is an inside dog she is full of joy and is enjoying life every day! She may still have the odd accident in the house but she is nearly fully housetrained now.
Zoe is fine with our cat. She gets along with some dogs but she would be better as an only dog. Zoe is great on the lead and loves to go for walks.
Zoe is wonderful with children as she used to live with two of them before being surrendered to Dog Rescue Newcastle.
Her colouring is called "golden roan" and she is just stunning! She is one very beautiful girl. She needs regular brushing (every couple of days), bathing (every month) and clipping (2 or 3 times a year) to keep her comfortable and gorgeous.
Zoe needs a loving home where she has full access to indoors and sleeps inside at night. She has separation anxiety so she needs a home where someone is home most of the time and is willing to work with her to help her feel safe and secure.
For more information or to meet Zoe, please contact her Caroline on 02-4983-1748 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com. Zoe is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Zoe's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
