About Lolly (adopted 7/6/14)
Lolly earned her name by being the sweetest little dog. She is 12 year mini foxy. She is a loving little girl who will suit living in a family and being the only dog. She is currently living with three other small dogs and she gets along well with them but she would love to be an only dog. She copes well with being left alone, and loves to lay in the sun and wait for her family to come back.
Lolly has a love of children and is very affectionate to my grandchildren, she seeks them out and sits on their lap smiling.
Lolly rarely barks. If someone comes into the yard or door, she will let you know, and this is the only time she barks. She feels the cold and must have access to the house during the day, and must sleep inside at night. She loves to sleep on your bed, and loves to lay in front of the heater.
Lolly eats dog biscuits mixed with a small amount of wet food, she loves dehydrated chicken fillet chews, and loves any bit of human food she is offered. Lolly is learning to walk on the lead with a harness.
Lolly is lovely girl and deserves a kind and loving home. She is great company and will return your gentle affections many times over.
For more information or to meet Lolly, please contact her foster carer Robyn 0414 550 340. Lolly is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW (south of Newcastle).
Lolly's adoption fee is only $100 because of her senior status and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
