Max and Ivo

Watch out puppy lovers, Max and Ivo are here to steal your heart! These adorable Pug X Cavaliers are bonded brothers, and they are on the hunt for their perfect new home.

Happiest in the company of their humans, Max and Ivo will joyfully keep your bed warm for you, check in with you while you're showering, go everywhere with you in the car and sit contentedly with you on the sofa. Never has the term 'cuddle monsters' been so apt. :)

While they have the basics sewn up (sit, stay, come) and they walk fairly well on lead, they would benefit from ongoing obedience training. These cheeky boys' toilet training is also a work in progress! Given lots of love, continued lessons, and inclusion in the household's day-to-day activities, Max and Ivo promise years of devotion, adoration and snuggles galore to their lucky new family.

OUR IDEAL HOME:
We would love to live with a semi-retired or retired person or couple who could give us SO much love and attention every day! Even somebody who works part-time or in dog-friendly environment and can bring us to work would be fantastic. We will thrive in a house that has at LEAST a medium-sized yard where we can exercise our active natures and work on our training with you.

OUR ENERGY LEVEL:
We are pretty active, bouncy dogs, which surprises some people because of our breed mix! We need at least two long walks a day, and our favourite places are the dog-friendly beach and the off-leash dog park, where we get to run off our puppy energy and socialise with other friendly dogs. So much fun. :)

OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
We haven't spent much time with children, but we do come across some of the little critters sometimes when we're at the park. They look interesting! We certainly wouldn't rule out a forever home with resident kids.

OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
Oh man, DOGS! We love other dogs sooo much! All of them! We just love to play chase or tug o'war or wrestling, and even if you're an old or grumpy dog we'll try to get you to join in! For some reason we get on especially well with dogs that are bigger than us, like the awesome Great Dane we met last week. :)

On the odd occasion we have encountered a cat on our walks, and all parties have been pretty relaxed and friendly, so we would probably adjust well to a household with cats if properly introduced.
