About Max on hold pending adoption
Max is on hold pending adoption.
Max is a young two year old male German Shepherd currently in care at Blacktown in Sydney. Loyal, obedient and very people focused this boy needs to find a committed owner who will ensure he is provided with regular exercise and stimulation.
Max was taken into care after being surrendered by his former owner who was moving interstate. At first Max was unsure of his surroundings and would be reticent to leave his foster carers side. Now Max has come out of his shell and is playful, social with his fellow rescue dogs and just so affectionate. This boy is striking with his full black face masking and dark gold and tan saddle he is one handsome shepherd.
For a male dog this boy loves attention, he lays across your feet or has his head on your lap for cuddles. He loves to sleep beside you on the lounge whilst you watch television. Currently an inside outside dog Max is fully house trained and knows his basic commands.
We would recommend a home where he is definitely allowed inside and is walked morning and night and has playtime with his toys. Max is living with a female and male German shepherd and is respectful with both.
Max has connected with his foster carer and is very attached so we really need to him him a forever home soon so he can redirect his love and attachment to his new owner.

Medical notes
Max is desexed, vacinated C5, heartworm tested negative and has been wormed, flea treated and is on heartworm prevention. Max is located at Blacktown.
