Alfonzo *On Trial in His New Home*

*ALFONZO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Looking for 3 kilos of doggie cuteness? Then you can’t go past delightful Alfonzo! A change in his owners circumstances means he’s looking for a loving forever home; will it be with you???

Alfonzo has settled in well into foster care where he’s having a wonderful time with his carers own little dogs. He’s good with the household cats and isn’t fazed by their chooks or miniature horses – we don’t think he has a mean bone in his little body. Alfonzo is a sweet little dog who isn’t at all “in your face” or yappy. He absolutely thrives on cuddles and being with you and would be quite content with being a lap dog. While in care he has been brushing up on “sit” and he also knows the “down” command even though he rarely jumps up on you though he loves being picked up for a snuggle! He’s not really into toys preferring to hang out with us humans instead.

Adorable Alfonzo is great around children; he’s quite the confident little dog who isn’t shy when meeting new people especially if it means getting more attention. Unfortunately Alfonzo wasn’t allowed inside in his previous life (he lived outside with a bigger dog) meaning that he isn’t toilet-trained so we’d love to find that special someone who will teach him as we know he’d totally love an indoor / outdoor lifestyle where he could be part of the household goings on – he currently sleeps in his carers’ laundry at night without a problem.

Being a little fella Alfonzo’s a terrific “take anywhere” size and is fairly low maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep his handsome coat in tip-top condition and he doesn’t appear to lose much hair - my photos don’t do this boy justice; he’s far more gorgeous in real life! Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, a supply of Schmackos (he loves them!) and lots of cuddles will make Alfonzo very happy indeed!

This little bundle of joy would love a home where he’s allowed inside and would benefit from a canine companion if you’re away for much of the day as he’s always had company.
