About Truffie
Hi there. I’m Truffie. I have a beautiful nature, a cheeky smile and when we're together you will always have my complete and utter attention. I adore affection, and there is no such thing as too many kisses and cuddles. My special skill is flying through the doggie door at the speed of lightning.
I can be an insecure little fellow, but that is only because in the past I haven’t always felt worthy of love. I haven’t been provided with the skills to help me cope with life. I tend to be a vocal chap and bark at people, other dogs and moving things, but that has been the only way in the past to get attention. I do crave a lot of affection from you, but it’s just because I have so much love to give and a lot of catching up on life to do.
My amazing carers are showing me that life can be great and I know I will adjust and get used to the amazing world at my paws.
To be honest with you, I pinch myself every day as I know I’m a very lucky boy to be with Victorian Dog Rescue. I am absolutely fascinated and delighted with the soft carpet in my new house and my bed is beautifully soft. I have never experienced such luxury. Don’t tell anyone, but I feel a bit like royalty.
I’ve started training and it’s a good thing I’m a smart cookie. I’m getting used to walking on the lead and I'm practicing all the commands. Toilet training is in progress and I assure you I’m giving it my best shot. I’ll have it licked in no time, don’t you worry about that.
I’m looking for a special adult person or family who are willing to invest time into my training and set boundaries for me. I would be delighted to have you around most of the time as I live for your company. Any time spent with me will be well worth your efforts, as I will put my soul into being your most devoted companion.
