Meet the funny and affectionate little Fernando!

Fernando is great with most other dogs, dog-friendly cats and kids. He LOVES his humans and is very people orientated. He also really enjoys his daily walks and adventures. He is very energetic and still thinks he is a puppy!

We think this little cutie is a Pomeranian cross with possibly a corgi however there could be another breed hiding in there too :)

Fernando has such a big personality for such a little boy. When we rescued him from the pound he was hoping up and down on his back legs as if to say "pick me, pick me"- how could we say no! He also travels well in the car.

Fernando was not toilet trained when he came into our care however with some patience and training he picked up exactly what was expected of him and now apart from the odd accident, is fully toilet trained. He does his business like clockwork every morning when he goes for his morning walk in his foster care home. Fernando is a very fast learner and has already shown so much improvement while in our care.

Fernando now knows voice & hand commands for sit & drop. He also gives you his paw when you say Shake (all this with the help of treats of course!) He knows ah ah means to drop whatever is in his mouth ie. the takeaway chicken bone he always manages to find on his walk at the footy ground & Wait means not to run out the front door when it is opened.

He is a lovely friendly happy, obedient boy, loves his toys & small dog tennis balls, and twirls around in circles when he knows it is walk time :) very cute. He sleeps right through the night in his little bed, is great with the cats now he is settled in his foster care home.
