Oscar

Oscar is the perfect dog in every way. He weighs 6.4 kgs, is good on the lead, happy to sit on your lap. Good with other dogs, kids, cats and responds with love and goodwill to everyone he meets. He is in excellent health with no signs of any arthritis. He has been completely health checked and the vet can't find any issues at all. The vet is positive that he is no more than 8 years old, but according to our records he was born on 29 September 2012. He has at least 5 more healthy years, possibly more. I once adopted a dog from the Geelong Pound very like Oscar who lived to be 20! Oscar was rescued 20 months ago from the RSPCA Shelter by a rescue group and left in foster care. It is difficult to work out his breed, he has a very blond woolly coat, but loves being brushed. \ Friends of the Pound have undertaken to find him a home. He is currently living with an elderly gentleman and a few Dachshunds. He has the best temperament of any dog. Ideally Oscar would be great with another dog (or even 2) or someone who is home most of the time. He is very people orientated and would love company. \ Oscar takes everything in his stride. Loves the whole world. He is in great health with lovely teeth. This price comes with a new C5 vaccination and Yearly Heartworm vaccination which costs more than the adoption fee!! I have ticked the interstate box because Oscar is in Kingscliff which is very close to the border of Qld/NSW. I don't want to fly him, but he could go to either state. \ His new owner is welcome to fly up and take him back as he is very close to the Gold Coast Airport.

Kevin, Oscar's foster carer has fostered many dogs over the years and just cannot fault Oscar. He has been enjoying his daily walks on the beach with the other dogs and greets everyone and every dog he meets with a big smile. Oscar is house trained and not a barker, would be good with another dog or an owner who can give him the love he deserves. He loves human company so ideally he would suit an older person who is home a bit.
