About Puppy Bandit (On hold pending adoption 30/7/14)
Bandit is a beautiful 13 week old, male, Maltese x Silky x Mini Foxy puppy. He is very small, weighing only 3 kilos so is not suitable for families with young children. He has a soft, fluffy coat that is lovely to stroke and brush. He will need grooming in the warmer months and regular brushing.
We have started house training Bandit but he is too young to have full control so his training will need to be continued. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Bandit is going through puppy chewing stage so needs to be provided with toys to chomp on.
Being so small he will need a very secure yard and either another small friendly dog for company or someone who is home most of the time. He is an inside dog so needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He should kept safely inside when the family aren't home.
Bandit is a happy, sweet, young dog who will be a great delight to the family that adopt him. For more information or to meet Bandit, please contact his foster carer Debbie on 0408-825-714. Bandit is in foster care in Beresfield , NSW (20 minutes northwest of Newcastle).
Bandit's adoption fee is only $650 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and Lifetime Registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
