About Eddie
Meet Eddie, the most energetic, loving foster dog I've ever had!!
Eddie is a 2 year old purebred English pointer. Eddie has a long story about how he first came into care, he did find a wonderful new home but sadly he has had to come back.
He needs a home with another energetic young dog to play with so he won’t get bored. He can become destructive if left alone so another dog to play with will help sort this out. He is great with both my border collies and loves all other dogs. He is a pleasure to walk, great to run with and runs with the bike. Loves a swim and to play fetch.
Eddie loves to be with people, he is both an inside and outside dog and he will happily sit on the couch when you’re not looking.
He has no aggressive bones in his body. Polite with food, will sit and wait and also shakes hands. He does need practice with recall however. Having said that I don't suggest farm life for him with big open paddocks to explore through. A big yard with good fences is what he needs.
This boy really can’t put a foot wrong. He won’t chase the cats and will happily let them sleep with him; he is wonderful with kids and will help clean up any leftover food on the floor.
This is going to be a hard one for me to rehome, so yep I'm going to make sure he only goes to the best suited home for him. He is to be rehomed locally if possible, but if you’re willing to make the drive to meet him - well we'll see how we go :) Eddie needs to be on a good diet of food as he is a slim, lean dog and will lose weight quickly - so no cheap food as you will be buying lots of it and he won’t keep weight on. Other than that he is pretty low maintenance.
I can’t say enough how amazing this boy is! Everyone who meets him loves him in a second. If you haven't had this breed before please look into it. He is not just a pretty face and this breed is not for everyone. Eddie hopes to meet you and your doggy family soon.
