Daffy

We rescued Daffy from the pound, where she'd been dumped by her owner. Fortuneately we have her original paperwork, so we're able to work out a bit more of her history. According to the paperwork, she was born on the 15/1/2012, and arrived at an animal shelter with her sister as strays. They were adopted out about 4 months later. At this point we do not know what happened to her sister, nor whether she changed ownership, but two years on her owners could not be bothered returning her to the animal shelter she came from... they simply dumped her in another pound without a thought.

Daffy is a small sized rabbit, with a big personality. She has seen a lot in her two years of life, and needs a home where she'll be given the respect she commands. Once you have been patient and earned Daffy's trust, she rewards you by being a best friend. But she is not a bunny that can be pushed around, and she is certainly not suited to a household with dominant personalities.

Daffy was adopted but returned to our shelter as she could not be bonded with the resident bunnies. For this reason, we suggest she finds a home where she'll be the only bunny. Daffy is a complex girl, who will be difficult to place in a home. Someone with a very good heart is needed to take on this challenge.
