About Copernicus
Copernicus' foster carer thinks that he is the complete package .... a loyal little boy who wants to spend the day with you whether it be curled up next to you on the couch or in his bed at your feet. Copernicus has the spirit of a puppy and enjoys a little play but, once done with that, he settles down for a rest in his bed. Copernicus is living with five cats in his foster home and they don't faze him at all as the younger cat plays with him and he does enjoy that. There are larger breed dogs in his foster home too and Copernicus barks at them because he thinks he is a Great Dane in a tiny dog's body so a home with a smaller dog will be best for him. There are also young children in his foster home and he is great with them and is happy for them to give him some attention and pats. Copernicus' foster carer would like to see him in a home with a family who have older children or a retired couple or single as he is only tiny and needs to be cuddled gently so smaller children may be too much for him. Copernicus walks well on the lead and enjoys coming with the family to the weekend soccer games. He also travels well in the car and sleeps the whole time. Copernicus is a house dog with a coat that will grow and require regular grooming.
