About Bear (On Trial)
THE BEAR FACTS:
I can’t help it if I am really really really good looking. \ Yes, I am the “Zoolander” of Greyhounds. Some say I am a little on the solid side (how cruel). I like to think of myself as big boned more like a cuddly teddy bear.
I am desperately looking for a family who will open up their arms and hearts! I promise to be gentle and love you in return. Really.
Sadly I think people don’t stop to see me for who I really am. A big black beautiful gentle boy. It is that dreaded “black” syndrome. Grrrrr. Can you find it in your heart to look beyond my colour and bring me into your home? \ So whatever your décor at home I can blend. You know black really goes with everything.
I am tired of typing as it is very hard work with paws! I will finish with my solemn pledge to be a really really good boy. Until the day you find me I will just wait patiently. Please hurry! I was never good at that patience stuff (arghhhhh).
Psst…before I forget, I have a very special talent. I can play fetch; you throw, I fetch, you throw, I fetch. Cool hey? A nice comfy lounge would be fantastic (not a deal breaker).
Not cat friendly.
Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
