About Betty
BETTY IS TRYING OUT A HOME.
Betty is a great dog. She was rescued from an interstate pound and came to us for her vet work and re-homing. We were told that she is Boxer cross, and it looks as though she has Dane in her as well. She has a great nature, is very friendly with dogs of all sizes and is good with the cats at her foster carers home. She is young and active and will need a good daily walk, and some basic training. She would also love the company of another dog.
Adoption details
Advertisement on PetRescue. I talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
I arrange a meeting with the animal and If all goes well completion of paperwork and payment is done through my vet. The adopter gets a receipt from the vet surgery.
I keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
