Lily is the cutest little girl who has obviously been a loved pet prior to arriving at SAFE. She is in good health and has a happy disposition. \ She has settled into her foster home very well and seems to be adaptable to any new situations. Other friendly dogs, even big dogs, do not bother her and she will happily trot alongside them while out on a walk. Lily’s favourite things are riding in the car, sleeping in her bed or on a lap, playing with her toys and being cuddled and talked to.

We think Lily has been a bit too indulged in the past as she is slightly overweight so her new owner would need to commit to feeding her a balanced diet and provide her with appropriate exercise. As is common in a lot of Chihuahua’s, she has a slight knee issue which will be greatly helped by steady weight loss and short frequent walks.

Although Lily hasn't been tested with cats or children, she is a happy dog and we think if properly introduced she should be fine.
