About Tiger Lily (On Trial 6/7/14) ~ Puppy
Tiger Lily is a 6 month old, female, Staffy x puppy. Tiger Lily is as cute as you could imagine a puppy to be. She is cuddly, loving and gets along with everyone. She is great off lead and comes back when called. She enjoys a big run at the park with her dog friends, chasing the ball and meeting people. She enjoys playing with smaller dogs or dogs that she knows and are not too wild. She will always cuddle up with either other dogs or people.
Tiger Lily spends the days outside with the rest of our dogs but is allowed inside whenever someone is home. At the moment her favorite place to sleep is in bed with us as close as possible. She will learn to sleep on her own bed as well if needed but does need to be sleeping inside with the family.
Tiger Lily has been learning how to play in water and goes into shallow water with encouragement and following the other dogs. She walks fairly well on lead but still gets scared in heavy traffic. Tiger jumps happily into the car with other dogs and enjoys car rides.
Tiggie Wiggie was the most skittish puppy of her litter but has come ahead leaps and bounds within the three to four weeks she has spent with us. She will still need daily exposing to new things and preferably someone with previous dog experience with shy dogs. TL will grow up to be a medium sized dog.
Tiger Lily would be best suited to a person or a family with another dog to continue showing her that there is nothing to be afraid of in life. Tiger Lily loves children but over enthusiastic children would frighten her. She would love daily walks to park or beach or to be included in visiting places and friends with the family. Joining a puppy class with her would be fantastic to build her confidence and keep her mentally stimulated.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
