About Zara
Zara is a sweet and regal princess who is looking for the perfect castle to call home. Easygoing, relaxed and affectionate, she would love to live with children, having grown up with a 7-year-old boy since they were both babies.
Stunning Zara demands nothing less than the royal treatment that she deserves, including unlimited time snuggled up with you on the sofa, long lazy naps on convenient beds, and plenty of toys and scratch posts - in short, the run of the house. :)
As her current owners are moving overseas and are very regretfully unable to take Zara with them, her carrier, scratch post and supplies of kitty litter will be provided if needed to her lucky new family.
MY IDEAL HOME:
I'm quite an independent lady, so although I need love, care and affection I am also happy spending periods of time doing my own thing. My new family will need to commit to brushing my beautiful coat daily to avoid painful knots and tangles. As I have grown up with outdoor access, I would love a home with a big backyard where I can play outside during the day (with a convenient door for coming inside when I like!) and spend the nights curled up with you.
MY ENERGY LEVEL:
As I settle into my middle years I am finding the warm, comfy sleeping spots around the house more and more appealing. :) Although I still have moments of kittenish energy and need enrichment with toys, scratching surfaces and interesting things to look at, I am mostly a champion of chilling out.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
I love the little boy I live with now and he is very careful and gentle with me, which I appreciate. I would be very happy to live in a home with children.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
I have been a solo fur-kid my whole life, and I definitely like it that way. It's possible that I might tolerate a feline housemate, but DEFINITELY no dogs!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
