Eddie the Pomeranian (On Trial 24/6/14)

Eddie is a cheerful 2 year old Pomeranian. He enjoys exploring his surroundings and loves human companionship. Eddie has mild brain damage which has resulted in some minor symptoms like stiff back legs (not being able to bend them), shaking and a wobbly yet very cute walking and running style. He would best suit a home without too many stairs. He also can't jump up on furniture so just needs to be lifted.

Despite his special needs Eddie is a happy and active boy who loves his walks. He is in foster care with other dogs whom he was very wary of at first, but after a slow introduction with treats and a fun walk together he has realised they are friendly and now enjoys playing with them.

Eddie has never experienced cats before so he wants to chase them so he is best suited to a home without cats or pocket pets (guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. He would suit a home with older children or teenagers who can be understanding of his little quirks, or a couple of any age where he can be pampered.

Eddie has previously been an outside dog but he craves human companionship, so his new family needs to allow him inside when they are home and he must sleep inside. He has a gorgeous, fluffy coat which needs brushing to keep him looking great.
