Hi! I'm Bonnie!
I'm from Queensland, I was a family dog but due to a marriage break up I had no-where to go.
I am a very typical 4 year old Border Collie, wanting to please, with a gentle nature.
I get on well with other dogs and am fine with kids. I don't take much notice of the cats although if one ran in front of me I'd probably chase it and try to round it up!
I would make a great active family dog or an agility or obedience dog. I have had some basic training and am a total sweetie. Anyone who takes me will need to want to spend time with me, taking me on runs, to the beach and/or continue my training otherwise I would get bored and get into trouble.
I am desexed, micro-chipped. heart worm tested and immunised. These were the very first things Aunty Sally organised for me when I arrived.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
