Cutie, Roxy is approximately 3 years old. She has made it to foster in Canberra and is ready and waiting for her forever home!
Miss Roxy – still looking for her leading man and forever home! Reminiscent of Sandra Bullock’s FBI agent character in Miss Congeniality, she’s fit and confident but finds it a slight task to get along with other non-greyhounds.
“You see” said Miss Roxy, “I’ve never really had much exposure to dogs other than greyhounds, so my social skills are a little lacking.” Gossip Hound certainly noted that Miss Roxy gets rather excited when seeing some dogs. Miss Roxy does show potential to overcome her excitement however and excels in every meeting!
But, there is also the totally loving side to her that loves to snuggle (preferably on the bed!). She is a great master of the roach and would love the opportunity to show you in her forever home. She resides in a foster home with another greyhound and copes well whilst foster mummy goes to work.
We are certain, like Gracie Lou Freebody, Miss Roxy becomes our new Miss Congeniality.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
