Milo *On Trial in His New Home*

*MILO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Do you enjoy cuddling up with a warm Milo on a cold night? Well, this Milo would love to cuddle up to you!

Young Milo is approximately 6 months old (vet's educated guess), and was rescued from an overcrowded flat with several other dogs. Although the vet had a good guess at his age, deciding on his breed was trickier! Most likely a fair dose of Dachshund in there, with perhaps some Jack Russell Terrier - or a local farmer commented that he looks like a Kelpie who had an accident with a rolling pin! Whatever he is, Milo is a funny young pup who has gallons of personality and would adore having a furever home of his own.

He is currently fostered at a farm with several other (larger) dogs, chooks, ducks, a pet galah, horses and sheep. He happily plays for hours with the other dogs and would really love to have a canine friend to keep him company in his new home. Mr Milo also loves a swim, a good walk, snuggling up in your lap or as close as possible to his human or doggy friend, chomping on chicken necks (his favourite!), or learning new things. He is very quick to pick up a new trick (he can sit, stay and jump up to your arms if you tap on your chest) and he just wants to please his person. He doesn't have a nasty bone in his little wriggly body, but he will bark if someone different comes to the house (he thinks he is a guard dog!). Milo loves going for a drive in the car and curls up happily and snoozes till the destination is reached. He is learning to walk nicely on a lead (as he is on a farm he usually gets to bolt around off-lead) but with a bit of training he will have no trouble with this. He is good with going outside to do toilet stuff, with only a couple of little accidents when he couldn't hold on any longer!

Milo loves company, so ideally his new owner would be able to spend a lot of time with him and he would love some puppy school classes to improve his growing range of talents. His foster mum says he is the quickest to learn of any of the pups and dogs she has had in the past - this little man is really smart, loyal and wants to please.

Milo is located in North West Victoria (The Mallee). He is a delightful young man who would love a home where he can enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle (he sleeps inside at night) and receive lots of love and snuggles as well as a regular walk with some good sniffs, and a tasty supply of "chicky necks" in the fridge.
