About Brando and Asha (On Trial 14/9/14)
Brando is a 2yr old, male, Bichon Frise Poodle mix and Asha is a 5yr old, female, silky terrier mix.. They are very closely bonded and need to be adopted together.
Both are just the most gentle and loving dogs. Which is surprising as they were both in bad condition when rescued from the pound. Asha was the worst and had to have most of her teeth removed:( So bones aren't really an option for her! Both have recovered and look gorgeous and are looking forward to their new lives together with their new family.
Brando is quite a sook and smooch. He enjoys being picked up and cuddled and fussed over. Asha is quieter and more laid back. She is the more mature of the two and tends to remain in the background more but still loves attention and pats.
These two sleep together and hang out together most of the time. Which is a good thing as they keep each other company.
They are now both inside dogs and are mastering toilet training. Asha is a bit better than Brando but Brando has only just been desexed so he should improve with time.
Brando has a non shedding coat and will definitely require regular grooming. Asha has a longish coat and will require brushing to keep her coat from getting knots.
These are two lovely quiet dogs who deserve a loving and secure forever home. If you think you can provide them with one please send an email to Lucyann blackorchid7@hotmail.com.au
Brando and Asha are in foster care in Lake Macquarie NSW, south of Newcastle.
Their adoption fee is $700 for the pair and includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registrations. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
