About Jess (On Trial 29/6/14)
Introducing Jess, a 5 year old, female, purebred kelpie. Jess is a dog who loves nothing more than to please her owner. The hard work has been done already and Jess is ready to be your shadow. Whether it's running for fitness or pottering in the garden, she just wants to be with you.
She will come when called and sits politely when asked. She's keen on the snuggles as well! She is a shy girl in the beginning but she soon shows her beautiful and loyal personality.
Jess is selective with her four legged friends but when she bonds she is an amazing friend.
We are unsure how she is with children as we don't have any. However nothing suggests she wouldn't love them too. Jess would suit a home without pocket pets and chooks.
For more information or to meet Jess please phone foster carer Mat on 0421 669 884 or email matnchlo@bigpond.com. Jess is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW (Lake Macquarie, 15 minutes west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Jess' $300 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
