Samson (On Trial 15/6/14)

Samson is a handsome 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross who is well balanced, friendly and smart. He loves every person and dog that he meets and showers them with all his kisses and cuddles. He is an active little man so will need someone who can take him for walks and play with him. He loves playing fetch – anything you throw he will want to return to you, even balls that are far too big to fit in his mouth. He also loves going for walks and going to the beach and would spend all day there if he could. Samson likes greeting new people by spinning in a circle, it's his model spin, and then he sits and smiles and waits for affection.

Samson is doing very well with his toilet training and will happily go outside if he has access so patience with this will be needed. He is very eager to learn and loves to please, he has already learnt how to sit, how not to snatch his food, to come when he is called and not to run through doors and gates when they're opened until he is asked.

Samson is a very playful little dog, he loves all the little dogs he's currently living with, he bounces around with them, plays tug-o-war and likes getting chased around the yard because he knows he's the quickest. He loves his human and dog friends but is no match for a cat or pocket pets as they aren't as playful as he is.

Samson is happiest when he is where you are, he will sleep in his own bed or worm his way under the covers on yours if you will let him. He sleeps through the night and will only bark if someone else starts it, otherwise he is a quiet little boy and isn't worried about new people or dogs he can see on the street.

Samson's perfect home would be one with another playful dog, he doesn't mind what size. He needs someone who is so active so that he can have an outlet for all his energy so if you want a running buddy or someone to take on weekend outings, here he is!
