About "Dexter" Purrfect Match
Dexter is an adorable Russian Blue mix boy, about 6-8 months old. His coat has amazing ocelot type markings, which make him really distinctive. Dexter has a personality the size of the moon! He loves nothing more than to play tag with his toy mouse and then settle into your lap with a purr like a Harley Davidson! However, his absolute favourite is when one of our dogs joins in the tag game and he can then curl up with them. He adores the dogs and, amazingly, it is mutual! He is bulletproof
His name means ‘Lucky’ in Latin; Dexter was rescued from the pound with just 90 minutes of life left before his appointment with death. A cat this amazing did NOT deserve to die!
Dexter’s personality is so incredible that anyone who meets him is entranced instantly – he just needs someone who has a space for him in their life and will love him forever!
A chance in a million story led me to save this boy’s life and he’s now safe with me as a foster carer, but needs a forever home. I’d LOVE to keep him myself but my own spoilt brat-cat Isabella just wants to bash him!
Adoption details
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. This includes and is not restricted to... dangers from disease, attacked by dogs,being used for dog fights or greyhound baiting, cars, cat haters, sick people who would like to hurt any living creature and/or being trapped and sent back to the pound and then left on death row unclaimed due to unforeseen circumstances (IE failure of owner to change address details when moving or lack of funding to pay the impounding fees).
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
