Kokoda (C2293) *Adopted*

Kokoda is a cruisy dude and very lovable. He gets along with cats (even grumpy ones) and loves his foster carers’ dog who he snuggles into whenever he can. He’ll even copy the dog lying on the cool tiles as you can see in the photo. He’ll lie across her face looking for attention, roll over exposing his belly and nip her gently on the lips. He’s a big boy and still has a bit of growing to do. He doesn’t like long hugs but at night time, snuggles in to sleep between his carers and laps the attention up. He likes to follow his humans around the house and doesn't like being separated from them by a closed door. Then he’ll push his paws under the door to let you know he is there and “let me in, please”! He would be great with families including children. He has a favourite old stuffed toy – Eeyore – which he and the dog share. Kokoda loves to carry it all around the house and it turns up in some very unexpected places. He’s not big on visitors and takes off to a hiding place, but once he gets to know them he’s fine.

Since being rescued by rangers from a cat overpopulation situation, Kokoda has been living in foster care being beautifully prepared for life in a permanent home. Like all SAFE’s animals he has been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. He’s also toilet trained.

Live far away? Kokoda can fly! We can cheaply, easily and quickly fly him to his new home thanks to our ongoing support from QANTAS Air Freight. We regularly fly animals around WA and interstate for adoption.
