About Caesar (On Trial 24/5/14)
Ceasar is a 12 month old Border Collie x Bull Arab who is looking for his forever home. You will be struck by his easy going nature and eagerness to please. He will quickly warm his way into your heart with his affectionate personality. He knows basic commands and is toilet trained.
Caesar loves going for rides in the car and since being in foster care he has shown great improvement when walking on the lead and loves going for walks around the lake or at the beach. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and is learning not to jump up on guests and family members when excited. Caesar is great when being handled and shows complete trust.
Caesar is currently sleeping inside but could sleep outside if required providing he has a good kennel under cover and the company of another dog.
Caesar is one of the doggy models featured in the upcoming Dog Rescue Newcastle 2015 Calendar "Pooches and Pinups"! He enjoyed his photo shoot and impressed everyone with good behaviour.
If you are looking for a lovable, gentle, large dog then Caesar may be the perfect addition to your family!
For more information or to meet Caesar, please contact his foster carer Bec by email (preferred) becsnewemail@yahoo.com.au or by text to 0416 095 409. Caesar is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Caesar's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
