Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Ty (On Trial 25/5/14) ~ Senior. Free ~
Ty is a purebred English Staffy, senior aged. He is smart and obedient and will sit , shake, beg and stay and I can walk him in the park without a lead and he doesn’t wander off. He is still quite active and loves going for a walk, and walks well on and off lead.
He loves people and is happiest when someone is close by. He gets very excited when you return from work or greet him in the morning. He is great with adults and my children who are 9 and 12 years. He is even ok with our cat now, and doesn’t chase her.
Ty seems to cope ok being on his own during the day for long periods of time as I work 5 days a week. He doesn’t bark and has a lovely nature, and loves his food. \ We don't know his exact age, maybe 8 years old.
Ty really feels the cold and needs to find a warm cosy home with people who appreciate him. He has a touch of arthritis so he needs to go to a home where he will be allowed inside and kept warm in the cooler months and preferably not too many stairs. He is a very loving and easy dog to have around.
For more information or to meet Ty, please contact Donna on 02-4942-2517 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Ty is in foster care in Adamstown, NSW (Newcastle).
Ty is being offered free to an approved home to help him find a loving home. He is desexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
He is on medication for a skin allergy (not expensive).
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
