King’s foster mum says:
King is 6 this year! He has come to foster in Canberra and has settled easily into our home. He is a quiet, polite and loving boy; he is partial to the ladies, but loves everyone. He takes a little while to warm (a week or two) before he becomes very affectionate, but once started snuggling, does not stop!! King eats well and walks beautifully on the lead.
He is still learning about toys and treats but his roaching is world class!! We are still exposing King to life outside of the kennels, he has been fine with children and other dogs on lead and we are looking forward to taking him for some dog park fun soon!
King doesn’t like to brag, but he (and his foster sister Lucky) is famous! King was one of the featured hounds in the recent SMH article.
Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
