Josh (On Trial)

Josh arrived with Oscar, Polly and Zorro who have since all found homes and Josh still patiently waits! this boy has been on our books for quite some time and through no fault of his own hasn’t found his niche in the world.

Josh has now been classed as a sanctuary dog which means his vet bills are covered by Greyhound Rescue for his lifetime. He is a very special boy who would be best suited to a home as an only dog without any small fluffies, and someone who would be able to spend a lot of time with him. He is very personable and attaches to “his” human very readily – he just wants to be loved so badly!

Dee who fostered Josh says the following about him:

“Joshy is a dog with soooo much personality! He makes me laugh every day with his antics – the world is a joyous place for Joshy and his curiosity knows no bounds. He is extremely respectful of people and food motivated, which means training is a breeze. In just one week he was house-trained, learned to wait before coming inside, mastered the stairs, learn not to steal food from the kitchen bench, stopped stealing the teddy bear fridge magnet from the fridge and stopped drinking out of the loo – what a clever boy! Best of all, he sleeps through the night without a peep. He is a big, gorgeous looking boy – the photos don’t do him justice. He acts more like a two year old!”
