About Holly (On Trial)
Holly is currently in foster with Rose and Mario, and this is what they have to say about this lovely girl:
“Holly is a beautiful, small sized, female greyhound. At 3 years old she seems to be a failed racer. She has a gorgeous shiny black coat with adorable, big brown greyhound eyes. When I first got her she was extremely timid, refused to eat or drink, was terrified of everything.
One month of cuddles and walkies later Holly is a completely different doggie. She is still shy around people but is affectionate once she gets to know you. She follows me around the house to curl up in the spot closest to me. She adores the company of other dogs and you won’t see her happier than when she’s running around with an impromptu pack at the dog park. Life with another dog of a similar energy level would be perfect for her as she loves the occasional chase and race. She is very respectful of other dog’s space and is very patient with small dogs and puppies. Her interactions with babies and toddlers have also been very gentle, and affectionate.
Holly is fairly low maintenance, she likes running around with other dogs followed by a nice long day of lazing around beds and sofas (with meals, treats and toys thrown in) is her idea of a perfect day!”

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
