About Jack
Jack is the most beautiful, loving boy who just needs to find his forever home. He's been waiting patiently for a few years now and often gets passed over as he is big and black and a bit bouncy! But he is the most wonderful gentle boy who just loves to follow you around devotedly and cuddle next to you on the lounge. He's the most affectionate greyhound I've ever met. He is a beautiful, sleek, shiny black boy with a little bit of distinguished grey coming through on his face now. He is a very happy boy who loves to play catch and carry around soft toys and would be lovely with older kids. He has spent a lot of time living with a family and is great with bigger kids, and even goes to check on them at night with me and give them a little kiss on the cheek as they sleep. He has a wonderful, exuberant energy and loves to greet people, but soon settles down and lounges hapily around the house. He can sometimes be a little shy with new people or crowds but quickly overcomes that as he gets to know them.
Jack is very easygoing and settles easily into a household. He loves his food! He lives in a multi dog household and enjoys a bit of a race and rumble with medium/large dogs, he'd be great with another dog for company. He has shown no interest in small fluffy dogs at home, however probably would not be good with cats or pocket pets. He loves going for a walk on lead. He is very excitable when he leaves home, so would need someone who is happy to do quiet walks and get him used to seeing other pets without barking excitedly and trying to get over to them. He would be great for a family with older kids and preferably an experienced dog owner, he is probably a bit big and strong to have with small children or older people.
We'd love to see Jack settled in his forever home, he has the biggest heart and really deserves someone who will love him as much as he will love them (and share their lounge)!

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
