About Maisy
Maisy was a recent save from the Canberra Pound and is currently in foster car. Her condition; dull coat, underweight, cut and bruises and very sad eyes suggest a life of neglect and hardship, but this is all going to change now that she has come into Greyhound Rescue! She is like a different girl already and has even been ‘smiling’ and wagging at the kennel volunteers for the past few days. Maisy is so grateful to be out of the pound that she has very quickly become a real ‘smoocher’ – she is desperate for love and cuddles.
“We believe that Maisy may have already spent some time in a home, so she will adjust quickly to a home environment. She has also had some basic lead training but will need somebody prepared to spend time on developing her skills further. \ Training Maisy will be a breeze because she is so eager to please and receive praise. Please consider giving this lovely girl a fur-ever home.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! \ We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
