About Dudley (On Trial 14/6/14)
Dudley is a 3 year old, male, Pomeranian x Pug x Jack Russell. If you are looking for an all round family dog well look no further because Dudley is your guy. Dudley is a very sweet, lovely boy. If you give him a tummy rub you'll have a new best friend for life.
Dudley loves to play a game of fetch, tug a war, or just run around crazy with the kids. He is in love with the children of the house (2 years old and 4 years old). He gets along with most dogs and is not bothered by cats.
Like most dogs, he will pull on the lead with excitement when he first leaves the house but will calm down after a few minutes. He is doing well with toilet training but still likes to be reminded that the toilet is outside. We are teaching him basic commands and he is getting very good at them and will do most anything for a treat!
Dudley likes doesn't mind spending the days outside as long as he has another dog for company, but in the evening he enjoys coming indoors to watch TV with his family. He is currently sleeping in the laundry with his foster brother and sister.
For more information or to meet Dudley, please contact his foster carer Michelle on 0414 450 903. Dudley is in foster care in Raymond Terrace, NSW (20 minutes north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Dudley's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
